Tulum, Mexico Dreams Resort

An Overlooked Gem and Not Your Average All Inclusive Resort I didn't think I would hit up an all inclusive resort for many years to come but a wedding invitation landed me at The Dreams Resort in Tulum, Mexico and it was a really pleasant surprise. The expected highlights that I was really looking forward to was of course eating as much and as often as I like and ordering Margaritas, Cornitas and Pina Coladas all day long while you sit under a palapa on a private beach. The unexpected highlights were that the hotel was suprisingly peaceful and plesant. It wasn't too big and was laid out nicely, the buildings were not taller than four floors which was nice. The food at the restaurants was pretty darn good. The private beach was never crowded and offered warm waters and snorkeling. To top it off the town of Tulum is not like the major destinations of Cancun and PV, it's much smaller and provides the Mexican cultural flair you miss staying at a secluded resort. Last but not least you can visit nearby ruins and Chitsa Nitsa is a short drive away.At the end of the day you get serious bang for your buck.If you want to just show up in Mexico and spend your time at an extremely leisurely pace consisting of sitting, sipping and eating maybe some beach strolling this is the way to go!
