Cozy Mendocino get away
The Stanford Inn - Mendocino, CA, United States view map
The Stanford Inn is our favorite place to stay in Mendocino. It's nestled in a hillside overlooking the Mendocino Bay.There are so many reasons to love The Stanford Inn number one being that it feels like a high end boutique resort yet its completely unpretentious. The inn is surrounded by beautiful landscape including an impressive organic vegetable and flower garden. All of the cozy rooms and suites have views, decks and fireplaces!
The very nearby trails and river offer lots of activities and if that's not your speed there is also an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and a spa that offers many treatments and yoga classes. If that wasnt enough there's an award winning vegetarian restaurant in the lodge AND your breakfast is complimentary.
Now last but not least, we have to admit that our favorite thing about The Stanford Inn is that they love animals as much as they love nature which means that it is pet friendly. That being said, only very well behaved pets are allowed to ensure that the oasis is enjoyed by everyone.
